National Mosque Open Day
This event is being facilitated by Muslim Youth WA and Canning Suleymaniye Mosque
Canning Suleymaniye Mosque will be a part of the National Mosque Open Day project on Saturday, 31st October 🕌
This project is proudly supported by the Department of Social Services, which aims to breakdown common misconceptions and stereotypes surrounding Islam. The initiative aims to counteract all types of prejudice, such as Islamophobia, as well as mutual misunderstanding between Muslims and non-Muslims alike, by creating a platform for open discourse between both communities.
The event will be community-centred, with free face painting, balloon twisting, and Henna painting!! 🤩
There will also be a free sausage sizzle and drinks, gift bags, tours of the premises, and opportunities for Q&A.

Mosque tours: at regular intervals
Prayer demonstration: 12.30pm
